Artwork has called for fellow DJs to join the protest.
R3 Soundsystem are planning an anti-Boris/pro-second referendum protest party in response to the appointment of Boris Johnson as the new Prime Minister of the UK. The daytime event – which promises something in between a march and a party – will take place on Saturday 12 October in London, just a couple of weeks before the UK is scheduled to leave the EU.
Yesterday (24 July) London based DJ and producer Artwork made a call via a post on Instagram for fellow “famous DJs” to come and play the event.
In March Artwork played a similar event – ‘Stop Brexit: DJs for a People’s Vote’. Octo Octa, Haai, A Guy Called Gerald and Prosumer also played.
