Brockhampton have officially announced their fifth album.

Earlier this month, US rap collective Brockhampton shared a teaser video alluding to the title of a new album. Last night they confirmed the title of the upcoming record, Ginger and announced that it will be released in August this year. Although an actual release date has not yet been revealed, the group have been teasing details for months, debuting a new song from Ginger at Bilbao BKK Live festival at the weekend. Watch the performance here.

The self-proclaimed “best boyband in the world” took to Instagram to confirm the news, sharing a teaser video which depicts the faces of the Brockhampton boys before cutting to the phrase “Ginger, August 2019″.

Ginger will act as a follow up to last year’s Iridescence and, according to the group’s de facto leader Kevin Abstract, will be a “feel-good” record.
