Bandana will be released on limited edition vinyl on 26 July.
Madlib and Freddie Gibbs will be releasing their second collaborative album, Bandana on vinyl on 26 July. The special edition release of the LP will be exclusively released by Berlin-based retailer HHV and is limited to 1,000 copies. This exclusive variant of the 16-track recording will be pressed onto white vinyl, and like the original edition, features artwork from long-time collaborator of Madlib, Jeff Jank.
Bandana arrived in June after a five-year hiatus for MadGibbs and is the second LP from the duo who debuted “unlikely success” Piñata, in 2014. Bandana welcomes a range of guests and collaborations including Mos Def, Pusha T, Killer Mike, The Roots’ Black Thought, and Anderson. Paak.
