Two remixes of the 2017 club anthem are arriving this week.
A white-label 12-inch, containing two remixes of Theme From Q, is arriving this Wednesday (24 July). Entitled Love Inna Basement, the vinyl will feature a Morning Dub and Midnite XTC version of the 2017 track.
The release has been credited to the fictional alias DJ Bogdan, who’s supposedly the owner and resident selector of a Berlin club called Basement Q. Back in 2017, Objekt wrote in an online statement that the fictional club inspired his EP Objekt #4. According to DJ Bogdan’s Bandcamp page, Love Inna Basement (Midnite XTC) has been cited by Call Super as “the track I’ve taken the most garys to in my entire life”.
Recently, Objekt announced his first ever audiovisual show. Taking place at Islington Assembly Hall in London on 12 September, the live set will be accompanied by visuals from New York-based artist and graphic designer Ezra Miller.
