Kano announces show at London’s Royal Albert Hall

Kano is hitting the road this year.

Shortly after announcing his sixth studio album Hoodies All Summerthe British rapper confirms today (22 July) that he’ll be making his return to the stage with a UK tour. With shows locked in for The Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow, Manchester’s Albert Hall, Birmingham’s Town Hall and Brighton’s Dome, the tour will be rounded off by a special performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Tickets go on sale at 10am (BST) this Friday (26 July).

The artist announced the details of his next album last week (18 July). Hoodies All Summer promises to be a “visceral examination of communities marked by isolation, frustration, anger and loss, as well as creativity, defiance and hope”. The LP will also feature guest appearances from Kojo Funds, Popcaan, Lil Silva, D Double E and Ghetts.

Accompanying the announcement was a 17-minute double music video, directed by Aneil Karia. It features the tracks Trouble and Class of Deja.
