Tom of England’s debut album Sex Monk Blues features DJ Harvey on drums

Sex Monk Blues is out on 7 October via L.I.E.S Records.

Tom of England (AKA Thomas Bullock) is set to release his debut album Sex Monk Blues on 7 Octover via L.I.E.S Records. The LP was record in New York with singer Bobbie Marie and features frequent collaborator DJ Harvey (AKA Harvey Bassett) playing kick drum on the track Be Me. It will be available on 12-inch, vinyl, cassette and digital formats. Listen to a track from the album, Song of The Sex Monk here.

Sex Monk Blues features vocals by Rene Love, with music and instruments by Thomas Bullock and Chebon Littlefield – except Ed Ruscha on electric bass, and The Rapture’s Gabe Druzzi on saxophone.

Thomas Bullock is known for his roles in Tonka Hi-fi in England, Wicked Sound System in San Francisco and the disco duo Rub n Tug in New York City. He has previously collaborated with DJ Harvey as Map of Africa, releasing an acclaimed self-titled album in 2007.
