200 capacity Cotton Club to open in Manchester’s Northern Quarter

Basement venue Cotton Club is set to open in Manchester on 13 September.

Nestled on Oldham Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Cotton Club is a new, 200 capacity basement venue. The club’s founders and organisers seek to prioritise line-ups that balance non-binary, LGBTQ+ and female headline artists.

Speaking to Resident Advisor Cotton’s Anton Stevens said: “We believe that if you’re going to start something new, it should share the same modern values reflective of everyone that resides here”.

Phoebe Valentine and Umwelt are locked in to play the club’s opening party. Other artists on the autumn line up include Photonz, IDA and All Hands On Deck.
