Brixton-based nightclub Phonox has announced a new approach to their Saturday night programming.
Titled Mantra, Saturday night’s at Phonox will embrace global hip-hop alongside London’s rich musical diversity. In a press release, the club reflected, “whilst we look back on the Jasper James, HAAi and ESA residencies with a lot of pride, we feel that now is the right time to push forward with a new direction”.
Mantra’s parties will be hosted by three residents; Skinny Macho, Tommy Gold and Bossy LDN who will rotate on a weekly basis from 21 September. For eight weeks of opening parties, Phonox will also partner with the likes of Edjer, Patta and Highsnobiety.
