New multi-arts venue Colours to open in London in September

Colours club Hoxton London

The new space will bring music, art, yoga and more to Hoxton.

New east London club Colours opens its doors on 13 September. Syd B, Jamz Supernova and rising MC and songwriter Shunaji have all been programmed to headline upcoming shows. The programme also includes the night Emergency Rooms, which will host Hessle Audio’s Joe and Numbers affiliate Sofay for a party at the end of September.

Village Underground, who have collaborated with Colours on the series of live gigs and club nights, say the venue will be “a vital platform for developing artists and promoters.” The new space is a project from the teams behind London’s Queen of Hoxton, The Book Club and Brighton’s Patterns.

Colours will also host residences from Pussy Palace, house and disco party Naturalia and garage event Lord of the Tings. The launch night on 13 September introduces the weekly night New Age, which will see a different DJ take the reins each week.

Events will also include yoga classes, experimental film screenings, hip-hop yoga with Gyal Flex and Sober LGBTQ+ mixers. Plus there will be an exclusive art exhibition from Lady Gaga collaborator Fred Butler.
