Top Boy will return to screens next month with 10 new episodes, Netflix confirms.
Formerly aired on Channel Four, the East-London based drama will return via Netflix on 13 September for a third series. Actors Ashely Walters and Kane Robinson, aka Kano, will remain in their lead roles as Dushane and Sully.
As seen in the series’ trailer, other Top Boy cast members include former Crack Magazine cover stars Dave (David Omoregie) and Little Simz (Simbi Ajikawo).
The trailer was initially unveiled during Drake’s London O2 tour date in April. The Canadian hip-hop artist has held an executive producer role on the forthcoming series after expressing interest in Top Boy in 2017. Alongside Drake, DJ Adel Nur, Maverick Carter and actor Jamal Henderson have also helped with the show’s production. Watch the trailer/ cast announcement for Top Boy series three below.
