ACCA Digital returns to curate a series of shows at the Brighton Digital Festival 2019 between 30 September – 17 October. Taking place at the Attenborough Centre of the Creative Arts in Brighton, the shows will feature electronic music, audiovisual installations and a day of critical debate.
Planningtorock will also present a reworked set with material drawn from the acclaimed new album Powerhouse on 11 October. The performance will be a prelude to the future release Powerhouse Unplugged – Live from the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts and will be followed by an afterparty featuring a line-up of exclusively genderqueer and nonbinary artists.
Highlights elsewhere include Laurie Anderson and Hsin-Chien Huang’s VR Project To The Moon, which was created in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landings. This will take place 30 September – 4 October. Caterina Barbieri and Ruben Spini also present their immersive AV show on 9 October.
