Bauhaus to reunite for first show in 13 years

Bauhaus

The pioneering group will play a one-off show.

Bauhaus have announced their first show in 13 years. Members Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins and David J will share the stage once again, at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium on 3 November. The show is set to be the group’s first full reunion since they last disbanded in 2008. Their last show as a four-piece outfit was in 2006, when they opened for Nine Inch Nails.

News of the reunion comes a month after frontman Murphy was taken to hospital after suffering a heart attack.

The band first formed in Northampton in 1978. After releasing six albums, the group first split in 1983. They later reunited in 1998, and again from 2005 to 2008. In November, frontman Peter Murphy teamed up with David J for the The Ruby Celebration tour, during which they celebrated 40 years of Bauhaus.

Tickets go on sale from 6pm (BST) this Friday (13 September).
