FKA twigs has announced a schedule of US tour dates.
The former Crack Magazine cover star revealed yesterday (3 September) that she will perform her Magdalene show in US venues such as Chicago’s Riviera Theatre and Boston’s House of Blues. Commencing from 3 November at Vancouver’s Vogue Theatre, the tour will be rounded off by a set at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on 20 November.
The auteur captioned her Instagram post with: “Preparing the Magdalene show has been my most ambitious undertaking, and the thought of sharing it with a wider audience is thrilling.” [sic]

The news arrived a day after twigs confirmed her next album title, Magdalene. In an interview with i-D, twigs said, “The record is about every lover that I’ve ever had, and every lover that I’m going to have… just when you think it’s really fragile and about to fall apart, there’s an absolute defiance and strength in a way that my work’s never had before.”
