Romare has shared his first new music in nearly three years.
DJ and producer Romare has released his latest single Gone. Available to stream now and set for physical release later this month the track is the first new music from Romare since 2016’s Love Songs: Part Two in 2016.
Released as a 12″ later this month, the single will comprise of the eponymous A-Side, Gone and B-Side, Danger. Discussing the project in a press release, the artist explained that Gone is imbued with “a sense of journey and ‘moving on'”, where Danger is imagined as an alternative to this.
It’s been over two years since the release of Romare’s critically acclaimed sophomore album Love Songs: Part Two. Since then the DJ has spent the vast majority of his time touring the globe, playing with the likes of Bonobo and Nightmares On Wax. It was during this busy period that both tracks were recorded. The Gone 12″ will be available on vinyl on 27 September via Ninja Tune.
