Musica Sanae

Musica Sanae is a unique research-based art project dedicated to exploring the intersections between sound and medicine.

Ziúr, Félicia Atkinson, Rashad Becker, Agf Hydra and Labour have been announced for Musica Sanae. Taking place in Berlin 15 & 16 November, the research-based art project explores the connections between sound and medicine with each of the participating artists contributing a unique performance inspired by the project’s focus.

This year Ziur’s performance focuses on self-care and keeping toxicity out of day-to-day life, while Atkinson will present Hedera Helix, a piece about plants, healing, architecture and ruins. Other performances throughout the event include Aglossotomography, a lecture-performance on how to speak without a tongue from Erik Bünger and a tableau vivant about the historical treatment of hysteria via sound in Salpêtrière Hospital by Barbara Kinga Majewska, Tony di Napoli, Michał Libera.
