The Channel Orange star is the new face of Prada.
Frank Ocean models in Prada’s latest menswear campaign for the SS20 season. With Vogue Italia’s Ferdinando Verderi at the helm of the campaign as Creative Director, Ocean stars alongside actor Austin Butler and director Nicolas Winding Refn. The images were photographed by David Sims.
The three talents were chosen to represent a “trinity of contemporary creatives, pivotal cultural personalities of now and archetypes of the hyper fragmented mindset of tomorrow.” The Italian fashion house has turned its logo into an acronym for the campaign, and each model has chosen words to define them. Ocean’s definition is “Programming Rhythms and Dancing Again.”
It’s not the first time the artist has been spotted wearing Prada. Ocean attended the Met Gala’s 2019 ceremony sporting a black Prada anorak, and he later appeared on the cover of W Magazine in a hooded jacket from the luxury brand.
