SHAPE Platform has announced its next showcase.
Each year, the Creative Europe-supported platform hosts a showcase outside of the EU. Whilst previously it’s travelled to Montréal’s MUTEK, Rio De Janeiro’s Novas Frequências and Uganda’s Nyege Nyege, this year its fifth showcase will be held at new Armenian festival Urvakan. It’s set to be SHAPE’s largest showcase to date.
Each year, the 16 organisations behind SHAPE select 48 artists to participate in live shows, workshops, residencies and more across events and festivals. SHAPE’s 2020 roster includes Rian Treanor, Jay Glass Dubs, LYZZA, Virgen María, xin and more.
