The Berlin club has suspended all ‘self-produced’ events.
Berghain has cancelled all ‘self-produced’ club events until 20 April due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus. As the New York Times‘ Matthew Anderson reports on Twitter, the club issued a statement announcing the decision “in the best health interest of our staff, artists and guests.”
The news comes as the World Health Organisation officially declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic. Berlin venue Trauma Bar und Kino announced yesterday that it would suspend all events until 31 March.
