The duo have released their first new track since 2018’s Rain EP.
Entitled Atlas, the single was created at the pair’s new studio space. Listen to it now via the player above.
“It would’ve been unthinkable to foresee the circumstances this track would be released in when we were making it,” Bicep said on the release. “Our frame of mind was so positive then, fresh off the back of our live tour, full of excitement for the next phase.”
“Atlas was our attempt at summing up some of the euphoric moments we experienced on that tour across those two years. It feels like those moments are very far away for all of us right now, but we hope this serves as some form of distraction amidst all this chaos.”
The single is available to purchase now digitally, and will be released on 12-inch vinyl on 3 April. The pair’s last full-length release was their 2017 self-titled debut. Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar are due to play a string of festival shows this summer, including a headline slot at Field Day.
