Solo 45 has been found guilty of raping four women. The 33-year-old artist, real name Andy Anokye, beat, threatened and tortured the women over a two year period, the court heard. Anoyke’s victims described being waterboarded with bleach-soaked cloths, being held against their will and threatened with weapons in his Bristol home.
Anokye previously admitted in court that he liked to “terrorise” women, but claimed that his actions were consensual and part of what he described as a “rape game.” Today Anokye was found guilty of 30 charges, including 21 counts of rape and five counts of false imprisonment.
Judge William Heart has ordered a psychiatric report to be carried out on Anokye and adjourned the court for sentencing. Anokye was originally arrested in 2017.
