Lunchmeat festival will go ahead this year.
Lunchmeat festival has announced the details of its 2020 edition. Set to take place from 28 September until 3 October, the Prague festival will welcome the likes of Robert Henke, Lyra Pramuk and Nonotak to various venues across the city. Anthony Linell and Ali M. Demirel, Dadub and FAX and Elektrabel are also confirmed for performances.
Lunchmeat is one of the few festivals currently still scheduled to take place this year, as Covid-19 has forced mass postponements and cancellations. The Czech Republic began easing lockdown measures at the end of May. “Even though the situation with booking artists and health regulations is very complicated, we are working very hard to present a festival that people expect and like,” says festival director Jakub Pešek. “The conditions in the Czech Republic are now one of the best in Europe and we hope that it stays the same until autumn.”
