The Bristol band have released the latest single from their upcoming LP Ultra Mono.
Former Crack Magazine cover stars IDLES have shared the sombre, and brooding, new track A Hymn. Frontman Joe Talbot described the song as “a hymn that rejoices in the sinister flesh-eating virus of the pedestrian.”
The accompanying video features band members driving around Bristol with their parents. According to the press release, the five-minute visual provides “a grey window into suburban English life”.
Ultra Mono is slated for release on 25 September via Partisan Records. The band have previously shared the singles Grounds and Mr Motivator.
