A red version of the Aphex Twin logo has appeared around various sites across the world, followed by hints of a drop landing on 20 October. The first time it was spotted was at London’s Electronic exhibition at the Design Museum, where it was displayed alongside our Aphex Twin cover.
While this wasn’t enough to raise suspicion, this week the logo also appeared on the store front of Phonica in London, and similar posters were spotted in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district Moritz Platz.

In our home city, Bristol, the logo appeared on Turbo Island, and Novation posted an image of an AFX billboard in LA – again, with a teaser date.

It’s not yet known what’s happening on 20 October, but the signs appear to be linked to hardware manufacturer Novation.
Earlier this year, Richard D James shared his Warehouse Project show in full with interactive visuals.
