Brooklyn artist KeiyaA shares video for ‘I! Gits! Weary!’

Chicago-born, Brooklyn-based artist KeiyaA has shared a video for I! Gits! Weary!, a track from her self-released full-length project Forever, Ya Girl.

Shot in New York and directed by Ryosuke Tanzawa, the visual sees KeiyaA walk the streets and the subway escalators in a string of eye-catching outfits. The video also features the work of champion rope-skippers, New York’s Jazzy Jumpers.

Forever, Ya Girl was released independently back in March of this year. All tracks were written and produced by KeiyaA herself with some additional production from dj blackpower (aka rising NYC rapper MIKE) and DJ Cowriiie. Prior to this release, KeiyaA had dropped an EP and a few singles. She’d also featured on cuts by MIKE and Armand Hammer (a duo composed of New Yorkers Elucid and billy woods).
