The duo have shared the second single from their upcoming EP Everything U Need.
Overmono have released the new track Clipper (Another 5 Years). The duo revealed that “Clipper was written just after Andrew Weatherall sadly died.”
“In the days after his death we went on a massive Weatherall bender, listening to all his various projects. We don’t usually listen to much music when we’re writing, but in this case there’s no doubt the influence of his back catalogue shaped this track.” Listen via the player above.
Everything U Need is slated for release on 6 November via XL Recordings. The pair have described the EP as their “most complete record to date”, a crystallisation of their sound and what Overmono is. “Our work together had so far been about exploring and defining what Overmono is. We feel like we’ve got this now,” the duo said.
