The former Crack Magazine cover star has put her own spin on BAYLI and BABYNYMPH’s anthem clown shit.
The remix first appeared on the internet earlier this week, and has been officially released today (30 October). The remix comes with a video filled with backdrops of cheetahs and rainbow visuals. Watch it via the player above.
“clown shit came together pretty seamlessly”, New York artist BAYLI explains. “BABYNYMPH hit me up randomly on Instagram with a crazy club banger and I sat down and wrote clown shit. When we found out SOPHIE was remixing the track, we lost our shit (as most would). The track embodies everything about being a bad bitch but also knowing how and where to catch people on clown shit behaviour before it ruins your night.”
BABYNYMPH added, “The original beat started off a lot more chaotic, then I decided to make it a bit more chill so that it’s still hot and also listenable at home. SOPHIE on the other hand took it in a whole other direction with her seven-minute long version that literally makes you go up the wall.”
BAYLI has shared a string of singles this year, including not safe, sushi for breakfast with a Junglepussy remix, and boys lie. Earlier this year, SOPHIE debuted a new batch of music and visuals in a 20-minute live stream on YouTube and Twitch. In August, she shared her remix of Abyss X’s Animosity.
