The virtual concert will take place on 27 November.
FKA twigs will join Dua Lipa for a collaborative performance as part of Lipa’s Studio 2054 virtual concert. Lipa took to social media yesterday (16 November) to announce the collaboration. She posted a picture of the pair in London with the caption: “So excited to announce that [FKA twigs] will be joining us for STUDIO 2054 a very special performance!!!”
The live stream follows the release of Lipa’s LP Future Nostalgia in March, and the Blessed Madonna-produced remix album Club Future Nostalgia in August. As Lipa was forced to postpone her Future Nostalgia tour this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the new show will offer fans a chance to see Lipa perform tracks from her various projects live.
Studio 2054 has been billed as a “kaleidoscopic rocket fuelled journey through time, space, mirrorballs, roller discos, bucket hats, belting beats, throbbing basslines, and an absolute slam dunk of the best of times in global club culture throughout the decades.”
