Watch the video for Ink Project’s ‘The End’ featuring Skepta collaborator Fifi Rong

Tricky and Skepta collaborator Fifi Rong delivers vocals for a new cut from Ink Project. Watch the video exclusively on Crack Magazine.

Ink Project is a collaborative music project operating on the peripheries of dub, soul and electronica. Brighton producer Jez Lloyd unites a cast of collaborators to create a rich, layered sound that lives in a kind of nowhereland between multiple bassy genres.

Following the release of Feeding The Fire which featured British-Trinidad artist Coreysan, Ink Project continue on the road to their new full-length Rhythm Spirit with The End. The ghostly dub track features ethereal vocals from Fifi Rong, the London based Chinese-British artist who’s previous collaborators include Tricky and Phaeleh. Rong is perhaps best known for providing vocals for the title track of Skepta’s Mercury-prize winning album Konnichiwa.

We’re excited to be premiering the official video which you can watch in the player above. Shot and produced in Berlin by the Video Siren studio, the visual sees Rong perform the track in a number of looks including a headdress by Cyberesque.

Watch the video in the player above. The single will land with remixes from Burial-collaborator Charles Webster, Synkro of R&S records, New Zealand dub act Pitch Black and more.

The End ft Fifi Rong drops 11 December via Blind Colour, pre-order the singles and remixes here.
