Black Country, New Road have joined forces with Black Midi for a fundraising performance in support of The Windmill in Brixton, South London.
The two bands, who come together as Black Midi, New Road, will be performing covers, original music and improvised material. The pre-recorded performance was filmed at The Windmill, which is a venue that both bands have frequented over the years.
It’s being streamed via Bandcamp’s new ticketed live streaming service, Bandcamp Live. Streaming tickets are £5 and all proceeds will be donated to the venue’s crowdfunder.
The performance news arrives shortly after Black Country, New Road’s album announcement. The band are gearing up to release their debut album, For the first time, on 5 February 5 via Ninja Tune.
