The festival and label crew are also celebrating the event via a new 46-track compilation album entitled L’Esprit de Nyege 2020.
This month Nyege Nyege Festival held its first ever digital edition. Over 350 artists took part with over 96 hours of music and art packed into the programme. It was Nyege Nyege’s sixth chapter.
The Kampala-based festival and label crew have decided to make the performances from this year’s event free to watch back online. All of the live concerts, DJ sets, showcases and more are available for viewing via Nyege Nyege’s YouTube channel.
Nyege Nyege has also released a 46-track compilation album that’s out now on Bandcamp. Placed behind a paywall, listeners can support the event by purchasing a copy of L’Esprit de Nyege Nyege 2020. The tracklist features Afrorack, MC Yallah, Catu Diosis, Gabber Modus Operandi, Slikback and more.
Watch the performances from this year’s festival here and pick up the compilation over on Bandcamp.
