7 Days of Sound has been organised by Bristol-based non-profit Saffron.
Saffron has announced a new week-long digital event called 7 Days of Sound. It’s for women and non-binary people aspiring to work in music tech or forge new connections and skills within the industry.
Each of the seven days will have its own unique theme, such as ‘Wellbeing’, ‘Music for Media’ or ‘DJs & Radio’. 7 Days of Sound will feature guest-hosted online workshops from specialists within the various fields.
Anna Meredith, SHERELLE and Team Love‘s Pauline Bourdon are among the first names confirmed. Maxie Gedge from PRS Foundation and Keychange has also been announced alongside Ableton certified trainer Anna Lakatos.
Earlier this year, Saffron launched a new membership scheme with an aim to extend access to its resources.
7 Days of Sound takes place 23 January to 29 January. Day tickets start from £11 however there are a number of subsidised tickets available. For more information and ticket details head to Saffron’s website.
