Warp Records are now on Bandcamp

Warp Records, one of the most respected electronic record labels ever, have joined Bandcamp.

The music distribution platform announced the news today (1 December) along with details of the records Warp have brought with them.

Former Crack Magazine cover stars like Hudson Mohawke, Aphex Twin, Kelela, Flying Lotus and Danny Brown now have records available to stream and purchase on Warp’s Bandcamp. They join other Warp classics by Oneohtrix Point Never, Autechre, Mount Kimbie, Yves Tumor and so much more.

Sharing the news on their Bandcamp Daily editorial platform, Bandcamp wrote, “Since their 1989 inception, Warp has been at the vanguard of electronic music, continually seeking out artists who don’t just offer interesting variations on familiar sounds, but rather disassemble the music entirely, building new structures from the pieces.”

“They’ve proven unafraid to embrace the avant-garde; whether it’s Aphex Twin’s still-terrifying video for “Come to Daddy” or Flying Lotus’s psychedelic hybrid of dance, jazz, funk, and electronic music (not to mention his visually stunning live show), Warp are one of the labels who set the standard for what popular music could do.”
