Phoebe Bridgers has dropped a video for Saviour Complex. The video is directed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and stars Normal People lead Paul Mescal.
Bridgers has long shown an appreciation for Waller-Bridge in interviews and her connection to Mescal started earlier this year on an Instagram Live. Mescal has since been spotted with Bridgers.
During quarantine, Bridgers reached out to Waller-Bridge about working on a video. The result, Paul Mescal and a new talent known only as Charlotte shot in stunning black and white.
As well as dropping this video, Bridgers will perform the song for The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon tomorrow night (2 December). The performance has been filmed at LA’s Magic Castle.
The news follows a string of Grammy nominations for Bridgers and her 2020 LP Punisher including Best New Artist, Best Alternative Album, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance.
