Local Action has teamed up with Finn to launch Mixtape Club.

The dance music mixtape series is free for listeners to access, and has been designed to support DJs financially whilst clubs are shut due to the pandemic.

The non-profit project will commission six mixtapes between January and July 2021. Each act will be paid £150 to record the mixtape. As the label states online, there is “no fixed format” and “no rules”. The mixtape series is free, and there’s the option of signing up to the club’s Patreon for £5 a month. If the pledges exceed £300 a month, the extra profit will be distributed evenly between all of the acts.

A line-up is yet to be announced, and the first mixtape will arrive later this month. Head to Mixtape Club for further information.

In December, Finn teamed up with India Jordan for the Christmas mixtape Joy to the World.
