SHAPE Platform announces 2021 roster of artists

Each year, SHAPE Platform showcases a roster of artists.

Sixteen SHAPE festivals and organisations come together to choose a list of 48 artists, with a focus on experimentation and innovation. For this year’s selection, there’s Oramics member Avtomat, an LGBTQ+ activist who was arrested at a Warsaw protest last year and later released.

Kali Malone is included in the 2021 roster, along with Berlin-based multimedia artist Zoë Mc Pherson, Dutch sound artist and ambient musician Sofie Birch and more. Check out the full list of artists below.

Those involved in this year’s selection include CTM Festival, Terraforma and Unsound. SHAPE Platform is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, and brings together 16 non-profit organisations within ICAS – the International Cities of Advanced Sound network.

SHAPE has previously platformed artists such as Peach, JASSS, Giant Swan, Amnesia Scanner, Danny L Harle, Anna Meredith, M.E.S.H and Aïsha Devi. Head to SHAPE’s website for more information.
