Gabber Eleganza joins forces with MCQ for rave-inspired collection

MCQ has announced its latest collection, Fantasma, and it’s a collaboration with Gabber Eleganza.

The fashion brand works with six-month periods instead of seasons. Within each cycle, MCQ launches a minimum of three collections – known as icons. For the second icon of its second cycle, MCQ has joined forces with rave archivist and label Gabber Eleganza.

Inspired by the energy of gabber raves, Fantasma features glow-in-the-dark panelling on a range of customisable garments, such as reversible tracksuits, jumpsuits that can be separated into jackets and jeans, and skirts that can be zipped up into shorts. Reactive coated nylon has been used throughout the collection, which transforms the colour of the garments from black to pink. Furthermore, graphics have been sourced from MCQ’s very own event in Peckham Audio.

Each garment includes a tag with the name of the icon it belongs to. Inside each tag is an NFC chip. Customers have been advised to follow the instructions on each tag, to create an account on the brand’s site and add to your own MCQ digital collection. If you’ve got a tag, head here to login.

Previous MCQ collaborators include Tzusing, Shygirl and Flohio.
