Earlier this year, LWE announced its new digital reality event concept called Tobacco Dock Virtual. Now, the team behind the concept are previewing the virtual event space via a selection of teaser videos featuring industry figures such as SB.TV founder Jamal Edwards MBE. In one of the new clips, Edwards can be seen touring the venue and exploring the rooms and spaces.
The new previews have been released ahead of Tobacco Dock Virtual’s free-to-attend opening weekend festivities, which run from 2-3 April. The virtual venue has been developed with leading virtual live events platform Sansar. The event will be available across mobile, tablet, MAC, PC or VR using the Sansar app or any preferred web browser, meaning access to specialist equipment won’t be required.
Elsewhere, Chase & Status feature in a teaser clip lifted from a full-length interview conducted as part of a link-up between Tobacco Dock Virtual and educational music conference Take Note LDN. Through the partnership, party-goers will be able to view a selection of interviews and additional artist content across the opening weekend. DJ and presenter Emerald will be hosting the Take Note LDN programme, with the full schedule set to be broadcast on a cinema-sized screen within the Tobacco Dock Virtual world.
