Proceeds will be donated to charities, food banks and Weatherall’s partner.
Earlier this week, a new two-part collection of Andrew Weatherall merch went on sale. Weatherall’s long-time production partner Keith Tenniswood – aka Radioactive Man – is behind the Love & Sabres merch. The collection is comprised of a t-shirt and a sweatshirt, both of which are being hand printed by east London’s Exalt T-Shirts.
The image of Weatherall printed onto the garments was taken by Tenniswood around the time of their collaborative Two Lone Swordsmen album From The Double Gone Chapel. Tenniswood utilised the same camera effect as the one used across the project’s visual identity.
Fifty percent of the merch proceeds will be donated to charities and food banks that Weatherall supported: Amnesty International, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Thrombosis UK, Crisis and The Trussell Trust. The remaining proceeds will go to Weatherall’s partner.

Tenniswood announced the new merch on 6 April, which would have been Weatherall’s birthday. Taking to Instagram he wrote, “I’d got some of these printed for friends at Xmas and wanted to make them available to all, and raise some money for charity which he’d supported too.”
“It’s hard to put into words what Andrew achieved in his life and what he meant to so many people, not a day goes by without thinking about him.”
