The duo have confirmed the album’s release date.

Darkside – made up of former Crack Magazine cover star Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington – have announced that their upcoming album, Spiral, will land on 23 July via Matador Records. Following up from the album’s lead single Liberty Bell, the pair have released the track The Limit today (8 April).

“From the beginning, Darkside has been our jam band,” Jaar said. “Something we did on days off. When we reconvened, it was because we really couldn’t wait to jam together again.”

Harrington added, “It felt like it was time again. We do things in this band that we would never do on our own. Darkside is the third being in the room that just kind of occurs when we make music together.”

Spiral will mark the pair’s first new music together since 2013’s Psychic. Today, Darkside have also revealed the new album artwork and tracklist. Check it out below, and take a look back at Nicolas Jaar’s cover story.
