Scalping announce new EP Flood, share single Monolithium

They’ve also released a brand new music video.

Scalping have a new EP on the way. Entitled Flood, the four-track project is scheduled for release on 18 June via Fabric’s in-house label Houndstooth. Flood follows a string of thrilling singles such as 2020’s Deadlock, which was the Bristol-based band’s first for the London label.

Back in 2019, the genre-defying group dived through techno, post-punk and synth music on their debut EP Chamber. The band enlisted fellow Bristol-based artists Bruce and DJ October for a pair of Chamber remixes.

Scalping have today (21 April) shared the EP’s riotous opening track Monolithium, as well as an accompanying visual. Watch the new video in the player above.

Houndstooth will release Flood on 18 June. Pre-order here.
