New Balance celebrate Grey Day with five consecutive broadcasts across independent UK radio stations

To mark this year’s Grey Day – New Balance’s yearly celebration of their signature colourway – five rising UK creatives will be delivering special radio shows from across the country.

New Balance will also be releasing three iterations of their signature 574 trainer which will drop tomorrow (15 May) on their webstore.

DJ and designer Meme Gold will kick things off, broadcasting from Reform Radio in Manchester with a guest performance from local talent. The station was the first channel to give Meme a radio show. She’s since gone on to host a regular fixture, The Meme Gold Show, on NTS Radio.

Next up, visual artist and archivist Sumuyya Khader will be on Liverpool’s Melodic Distraction followed by current Crack Magazine cover star cktrl with an hour on Giles Peterson’s Worldwide FM station.
