This new photo book shares dancefloor memories from some of your favourite artists

Quarantune 02: Last Entry 3am is the second book offering from the Quarantune platform and features entries from DEBONAIR, Sally C, Jyoty and more.

Quarantune is a digital platform that’s spent the last year reflecting on the magic of club culture. It was founded by Irish, Athens-based journalist and DJ Niamh O’Connor at the start of the pandemic. The project features interviews with artists, journalists and photographers such as iona, Bklava, DEBONAIR, Heléna Starr, Cromby and more. Interviewees are asked to share fond dance music-related memories in the form of a photo and reminisce on what their chosen moment means to them.

Now, Quarantune is launching its second photo book. It marks the last in the platform’s book series before O’Connor renames and refreshes Quarantune later in the year. Entitled Quarantune 02: Last Entry 3am, the limited edition book features 50 artists from around the world. Plus, a mixture of more recent photography and older memories that have yet to be published on the online platform. This edition in particular shines a light on emerging and established talent, as well as grassroots communities in dance music. Quarantune 02: Last Entry 3am features entries from music journalist Annabel Ross, Sally C, Jyoty, Tim Reaper, KG, Rebekah, Kikelomo, Black Artist Database founder Niks and more, alongside images from photographers such as Alexander Petsavas, Chidera David Chukwujekwun and MeetDean.

‘I produced a second Quarantune book with Aisling — Quarantune designer-in-chief —  because I love discovering more about the people responsible for cultivating dance music and diverse scenes worldwide.” says O’Connor. “I wanted to create a tangible glimpse of their work before I refresh and rename Quarantune later this year. The book is not only about showcasing multifaceted talents in music but also celebrating the photographers responsible for documenting these snapshots in time. We’re so thankful to everyone who contributed their art and helped get this project over the line.”
