Two new tracks from the London duo.
Overmono have released a new 12″ entitled BMW Track / So U Kno. The London-based pair’s latest project arrives via their label Poly Kicks. The duo describe the record as, “a tribute to the legacy of our south east London studio”.
Both EP tracks also feature on the forthcoming Overmono – aka brothers Tessela and Truss – fabric presents mix. Overmono’s entry into the revered mix series was announced last month. fabric presents Overmono is scheduled for release on 16 July.
Overmono have also announced a new live show date at London’s Village Underground. The pair will touch down on 16 September. “We’ve written an insane amount of music over lockdown and this is gonna be the first time we perform it,” they explain in an announcement post. “Playing live feels like an extension of what we do in the studio and that’s something we’ve missed massively over the pandemic – if we can’t shred some breakbeats every now and then on a massive sound system we get a bit down lol.” Pre-sale live show tickets are on sale now. General admission tickets go on sale this Friday (18 June).
