The Manchester duo have announced their next full-length LP, Honest Labour.
The album marks the pair’s debut on the label Dais, and it’s set to arrive on 27 August. Accompanying the announcement is the new single and video B£E, featuring Blackhaine. Watch it below.
The album title alludes to “a legendary patriarch” from member Joshua Inyang’s Nigerian family tree, who was nicknamed Honest Labour “for his loyalty and resilience”. In a press statement, the pair said: “Ultimately this is a homage to UK energy, and an album about love and loss.” [sic]
Honest Labour will follow up from the duo’s self-released mixtape Hybtwibt?, which came out in 2020. Scroll down for the new artwork and tracklist.
