Tyler, the Creator releases video for new track Wusyaname

His new album, Call Me If You Get Lost, drops this Friday (25 June).

Tyler, the Creator has shared another new song from his forthcoming LP Call Me If You Get Lost. Entitled Wusyaname, across the new track Tyler channels 90s R&B as he raps about flying his love interest out to Cannes to watch indie movies, or pouring syrup on her eggs. The romantic track dropped last night (22 June) alongside a grainy, retro-tinged music video, which was directed by Tyler under his Wolf Haley moniker.

The new video appears to be a continuation of the artist’s previous visuals for tracks Lumberjack and Side Street. The Wusyname video stars actress Helena Howard, who appeared in the Side Street teaser. It also features another brief cameo from Odd Future’s Taco.

Tyler first began teasing Call Me If You Get Lost with a selection of cryptic billboards in LA and beyond. The billboards featured the phrase “Call Me If You Get Lost”, the Columbia Records logo and a phone number. When fans called the hotline, they were met with an automated recording of a conversation between Tyler and his mother. Last week, Tyler announced the album’s title and release date.
