Watch an Actual Objects-directed music video for the new track.
Yves Tumor is back with new music. The enigmatic artist has shared a new single entitled Jackie. The track was co-written and produced by Chris Greatti and arrives alongside a dark and psychedelic new visual conjured up by LA-based creative studio Actual Objects.
Actual Objects has previously worked with the likes of Travis Scott, Eartheater, Museum of Modern Art NYC, Kanye West, Hood By Air and more. “We loved collaborating with Yves Tumor on Jackie — we’ve been massive fans for years,” the team explain in a new statement. “Their work is always so forward looking, and has always been a major inspiration for us. Jackie was a chance for us to dig deep into our toolkit and work with some of our most experimental techniques.”
Jackie marks Yves Tumor’s first solo release since 2020’s Heaven To A Tortured Mind, which arrived last April. In December, they teamed up with Kelsey Lu for a track entitled let all the poisons that lurk in the mud seep out. The Christmas release also featured Kelly Moran and Moses Boyd.
To accompany the new track, Yves Tumor has unveiled a 28-date US, UK and European tour, with more gigs still to be announced. Tickets go on sale this Friday (18 June) and can be purchased here. You can also pick up Jackie merch from Yves Tumor’s Bandcamp.
