The Bristol-based artist has previously created sculptures and music videos for musicians like PartyNextDoor, Drake and 03 Greedo.

William Child is hosting his first solo exhibition this month. Titled Gravy Mercedes, the exhibition launches this week (22 July) and will run for a limited time. It’s set to feature a selection of sculptures, animated visuals, personal and commercial works produced by the claymation artist, sculptor and music video director over the past four years. It takes its name from the animation studio and record label venture Child heads up. Limited and original works will be available to purchase at the exhibition, which is being held at the Cider Box in Bristol. Faze Miyake will DJ the preview event.

Last year, Child conjured up the art for our 100 Gecs cover story. He’s created music videos for US stars such as PartyNextDoor, Drake, 03 Gredo, Kenny Beats and Father in the past too, while also working with brands like BT Sport, HUF and Reebok Classic.

Gravy Mercedes is previewing from 7pm (BST) on Thursday 22 July.  RSVP here and revisit our William Child feature.
