Today (23 July), Dave releases his much-anticipated second album, We’re All Alone in This Together.
On top of previously announced guests like James Blake, Stormzy, Wizkid and Snoh Aalegra, there were a few surprises when the album dropped last night. In the Fire features verses from Fredo, Ghetts, Giggs and rising Manchetser Meekz.
Elsewhere, Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya appears twice offering words of wisdom and guidance to Dave. Dave was in Los Angeles with Kaluuya earlier this year when he won the Academy award for his performance in Judas and the Black Messiah.
On Instagram, Dave thanked Kaluuya directly for “his words of inspiration.”

It follows the south London artist’s debut album Psychodrama, which landed in 2019. Psychodrama won the 2019 Mercury Prize, as well as Album of the Year at the 2020 Brit Awards.
