Decade-old Burial and Four Tet collaborations get digital release

Two of Four Tet and Burial‘s previously vinyl-only collaborations, Nova and Moth, are being released digitally this Friday (11 February).

Four Tet, real name Kieran Hebden, confirmed the news on social media this evening (9 February). In his Instagram post, he described the offerings as “two of the best tracks I’ve ever been part of”. Check out Hebden’s post below.

Moth was released in 2009 via Hebden’s own imprint, Text Records. It landed alongside another track entitled Wolf Cub. The pair released Nova in 2012.

In 2020, Four Tet and Burial linked up with prior collaborator Thom Yorke for a surprise release. The trio released two songs – Her Revolution and His Rope – via XL Recordings.

More recently, Burial released a new EP entitled Antidawn in January. The project has been described as an exploration into the “interzone between dislocated, patchwork songwriting and eerie, open-world, game space ambience”.
