The Somerset event will head to its new Dillington Estate home in May.
The full line-up for this year’s Shindig Festival has arrived. For its seventh edition, set to take place from 26 to 29 May, the festival is relocating to a new home at Somerset’s Dillington Estate.
De La Soul and Roy Ayers are locked in as headliners. They’ll be joined by the likes of Shunaji, Jamz Supernova and Nightmares on Wax, who’ll treat revellers to an extended DJ set. Altern 8’s Mark Archer will also return to the festival this spring.
Elsewhere, Ibibio Sound Machine, Crazy P and House Gospel Choir have been announced. Drum’n’bass and jungle fans can also expect sets from DJ Flight, Goldie and Dillinja.
The fancy dress theme for 2022 is Mardi Gras. Festival-goers are encouraged to “don feathers, beads, gather your festival crew and bring the best shimmys and shakedowns you’ve got.”
Shindig Festival takes place on 26-29 May. Head to the festival’s website for tickets and listen back to Mark Archer’s Crack Mix below.
